Progress report - March 25

 

The planning dept of BDBC have been informed that the work on permission BDBC/1300045/FUL ref The Clock Tower will be recommenced with the aim to complete before the Autumn of 2025.

 

Tenders for the Skirt work have been invited and one price received, committee to consider and decide.

 

Hawkins Clocks are now ready to reprice with a full understanding of what the BCA require.

 

Enquiries for the scaffolding are in preparation.

 

The programme of works for 2025 is:

• April, erect scaffold.
• May, install skirt and reseal the roof.
• June install the electrical work.
• Summer deliver, install and commission the Tower and four clocks.
• September remove the scaffold.
